Casting Call: Be Part of the KDFL Documentary
Are you part of the disability football community in Kent or the South East?
We’re making a powerful new TV documentary celebrating the people, families, and teams at the heart of inclusive football — and we’re looking for real stories from real people.
🎬 About the Project
This documentary will follow the journeys of players, parents, carers, coaches, and volunteers connected to the Kent Disability Football League (KDFL). It’s a first-of-its-kind look behind the scenes of grassroots disability football — created to raise awareness, break down barriers, and inspire others.
Produced by acclaimed TV director Will Davies (BBC, ITV, Channel 5), and led by KDFL Ambassador Darren J Young, this film will showcase the true spirit of community sport and determination.
⚽ Who Can Apply?
We want to hear from:
-
Disabled footballers of any age.
-
Parents or guardians of players.
-
Team coaches, carers, or support staff.
-
Anyone helping to grow disability sport in their area.
Whether you're just starting out or have been playing for years, your story could help shape this important documentary.
